I hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving holiday and were able to stay on track like I did with their diets, work out plans to achieve their goals. Its been 5 days since the completion of my diet and I am so pleased with the results. I am so thankful for this blog project because it has motivated me to do things that i've been striving to do for so long. The point of this post is to inform all of you about my results and to recommend this diet to everyone. Because I am using this blog towards a project for my social media class, I will not be providing before and after photos because i did not think they were appropriate.
Overall I lost 11 lbs and couldn't be happier. I initially started at 130 lbs and am now 119 lbs!!! As a 5 ft 2 inch female I am at the correct weight for my height and age. I went from a size 5 to a size 3/4. I am so much more comfortable with my body and being in a bathing suit. I still plan to continue practicing healthy eating habits and working out daily because I want to continue to feel this wonderful!
I am so motivated to do anything after this challenge! Its taught me that you can do whatever you set your mind out to do. No matter how hard it is, you can do it. I hope that all of you reading this take something away from it and at least feel more goal oriented. I love my new body and plan to continue to blog and get others motivated.
"I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday" Words to live by! Hi my names Krista Schneider, I'm a 20 years old Junior at Fredonia State and a Public Relations Major. I love working hard for what i want and enjoying every aspect of life!
Congrats on finishing the challenge and losing 11 lbs.! That's awesome. I think having a good balance of eating right and having a regular amount of exercise is important in living healthy. What was the hardest thing for you while doing this challenge? What was the easiest? I'm always looking for healthy meals but it's so hard to keep fresh ingredients because they go bad so quickly. What types of meals do you think you'll stick to the most now that the challenge is over?
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! The hardest thing I faced when doing this challenge was definitely watching my friends eat all these delicious foods in front of me and having to resist. The easiest part of this diet was getting used to feeling great and energized everyday. You feel at your absolute best, I love it. I completely get what you're saying with the healthy meals and keeping ingredients fresh. I try to shop light but go frequently, so I dont buy more until i finish what i have first. The meals ill stick to the most will be the fruit and egg whites in the morning, the light salads and grilled chickens at lunch, and the proteins (lean meats) and extra servings of vegetables. I will also stick to fruits with antioxidants, like pomegranate. Thats my favorite!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I want to congratulate you on finishing - that's so awesome! I can totally relate to your entire blog, I wish I'd visited it sooner.
ReplyDeleteOver the summer I decided to try the Beachbody program, Insanity. It's a 60-day cardio intensive workout program. It was definitely one of the most challenging things I've ever tried to do, but my God, I'd never take it back. I've become obsessed with fitness as a result, and I know it's going to be a life-long thing.
I lost 12 lbs doing Insanity, and since I had such a positive experience, I decided to try another program. I'm currently in week 3 of TurboFire. It's more dancing/kickboxing oriented than Insanity, but it's absolutely just as intense. This program is 90 days so I'm still in the very beginning, but I love it so far.
All Beachbody programs come with a schedule that states what workout to do everyday. They also come with these AMAZING nutrition guides. I'm like starving just thinking about it. All of the recipes are delicious, and absolutely guilt free.
I've completely changed my lifestyle as a result of trying this and I wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes it's super difficult to maintain such a well-regimented fitness plan when you're at school, but I think of what good I'm doing for my body and of the long-term results I want, and that's more than enough to keep me going.
I'm glad someone else can relate to this. Again, congrats on finishing, that's so exciting!
